Most bible readers read their bible the same way they read the newspaper. They pick it up and start reading. They mostly read a few minutes before they go to bed or during break time. Once cannot grasp everything you read especially when your mind is not settled. To understand the bible, it requires more than opening the pages and reading it. Maybe you want to learn about developing faith, or raising children. You can also identify any topic you want to familiarize yourself on. Having a reason for studying is the best way to individualize your bible study experience.

The best way to study the bible is to write down what you learnt. You will find teachings, important scriptures, stories, and wise saying in the scriptures. You will want to refer to them another time. It will be easy if only you wrote them down. You can write down the message and where you it is found. This way you can easily go back and read the whole chapter.

There are other methods of reading the holy book. They include attending online classes and joining workshops. These two venues provide a great platform where people can learn and internalize the bible. They are helpful to all.
