How To Properly Take Care Of A Car

By Carol Kelly

Having to purchase or own a vehicle is something expensive. Aside from house, this is one of those things that a person needs to save so much for because often times it costs millions of penny. That is probably the reason why people tend to care too much of this valuable possession because it could not easily be replaced especially when one is tight on their budget. Owners gets really concerned when they see damages on any area of their vehicle because it would look really off. Good thing that when this happened, they would not have to immediately replace it because there are car scratch repair Kitchener that could them way through it.

However, even if these people are more than happy to be of service, that should not let an owner forget their responsibility to properly take care of their belonging. Apparently, personal maintenance is still better way of keeping cars in great shape than sending it often to repair. The cost of maintenance is way lower compared to repairs so better be wise on such matters.

One can simply start by handwashing their vehicles. Sometimes, having to hand wash cars instead of opting into automatic carwashes is better as machines may really cause the scratch instead. Whereas when a person has to clean it on their own, they tend to control their motion in a careful manner.

Anyway, to start cleaning the precious car, go and grab a bucket of water or hose then prepared the carwash product to be used. When choosing the product, do a little research so that one could make sure to use the best. To begin with the cleaning, soak the entire vehicle with water to initially wipe off the build ups of dusts and dirt.

Anyway, just start by wetting all the entire surface of the car to initially wipe those dusts which are stuck. Then lather the soap all over it in a circular motion but make sure to take note of the needed amount to use so that over applying of product would not happen. Start on the roof parts before going down to the sides and hood.

Now use a wet sponge or soft mitt to lather the soap mixture from the roof downwards. Lathering of the mixture is better when done on a careful circular motion and once everything is thoroughly cleaned, go on with cleaning the wheels and tires. For tires, it would alright to use an abrasive sponge so that the dirt are removed completely.

When letting the car dry, never use ordinary towels but instead have that one which is microfiber. This is way safer in terms of its quality, this would never cause any slight problem or damage. Once it already is dry, moving on to the next step which is waxing. Use a wax that is suited on the color of car owned.

There is an applicator that comes along with this product so make use of it when applying. Make sure to follow the instructions that are often placed on the packaging so that it would be done well and proper. After everything, wipe the wax with a microfiber towel, still.

And to better ensure the welfare of that possession, be responsible when parking and avoid leaving the vehicle on areas where crowd and pedestrians often pass through. They may accidentally bump on it without being aware that they already have done some damages. Do not park way too close to other vehicles as well because when they open their doors, there may be some collision or something.
