Reasons Yamaha Bikes Still Take The Top Position At Motorsports Dealer Riverside County

Yamaha Motorcycles are among the most dependable motorcycles. That is according to a survey conducted by Consumer Reports which obtained their information from people who own Yamaha bikes. Between 2008 and 2014, 12,000 Motorsports Dealer Riverside County bikes were purchased. From that, about 11,000 owners participated in the research.

How Yamaha Stacks Up on Reliability.In general, Japanese brands ranked as the most reliable bikes, with Yamaha at the top, followed by Suzuki, Honda and Kawasaki. On the other hand, Triumph, Ducati and BMW were more prone to needing repair.Yamaha owners had less serious problems to deal with than the other owners. Can-Am trikes were at the bottom for reliability and four times more likely to break down. Statistically, the study found only 11 percent of Yamaha Motorcycles have serious issues in the first four years.Other Japanese bikes, such as Suzuki, Honda and Kawasaki, ranked very high in the reliability category. Under 15 percent needed major care in the first four years.

In the survey, Yamaha owners were found to have less technical difficulties with their bikes than the other owners. The least reliable motorcycle was found to be Can-Am trikes. The study showed that most Yamaha owners had a smooth first four years with their bikes.Suzuki, Kawasaki, and Honda were also ranked very highly regarding reliability. Less than 15 percent had serious technical issues in the first four years after purchase.

BMW and Ducati were found to be the least reliable. The study also revealed that 40 percent of BMWs and 33 percent of Ducatis needed repairs in their early years after purchase. On the other hand, Triumph and Harley-Davidson bikes were found to be in need of major repairs in their four years of purchase.

Motorcycle riders, like car enthusiasts, are known for brand loyalty. So, that could be part of the explanation. This is one product where brand image takes precedence over more practical categories like comfort and reliability.

That does not mean that Yamaha is not in love with their bikes. They get more value for their money.You need to discard the idea of getting cheap products to save money.
