Maintaining indigenous breeds is a responsibility for everyone. The haste and greed for money have led to the abandonment of this breeds which have their advantages too. For instance, they hardly get sick, rarely succumb to droughts, and give delicious products than other animals. As such, you should keep the heritage breed.

People who are affected by red meat or want to protect their hearts from the effect of cholesterol should not hesitate to eat pork. However, ensure that you know the source of the pigs before rushing into butchery and purchasing them. Consumption of pork from pigs that have used antibiotics for their entire lives is a life threatening danger for you.
