Easy Tips To Master Godly Wisdom

By Peter Ward

Being wise is a higher honor than having earthly possessions. With godly wisdom, you can acquire anything you desire and conquer any obstacle that may block your path. This is what every king or leader should aspire to get. While people are born with knowledge, there must be particular conditions for you to be unquestionably wise.

Read the scriptures to understand what God wants from his people. The scripture is considered as direct message to His people. This means that it is the ultimate source of counsel and foundation of any knowledge that a human being should possess. It is this word that guides you on what is expected of wise people and how to distinguish between worldly and heavenly insights.

Your company should be that of wise men. This is a natural part of any existence. It is said that you will become like the people you interact with on regular basis. By staying with wise men and women, you learn directly from them and can apply the lessons in your life. If your company is made of fools, you will be making poor decisions that have zero insight. It is better to stay with wise people than to read materials and listen to lectures. Through company, you will learn real life experiences.

Listen to messengers sent by God. God uses different ways to communicate and explain Himself. There are prophets on earth who will help you decipher and understand what God desires of you. Listen to their counsel and act accordingly. However, be wary of false prophets whose sole purpose is to mislead people and take advantage of their ignorance. Ensure that the actions and revelations of such prophets have been ascertained.

Take time to meditate on the message given by God. It is through medication that you go deeper into the word. It gives you greater insights into ideas of God and the situations that God desires you to understand. There are issues whose counsel is only obtained through deep meditations. This will make your real life easier to understand. It is considered more rewarding than listening to people talking about God.

Tame your appetite and reactions in all circumstances. You will be regarded as wise or otherwise based on how you handle particular situations. If you rush through these situations, the possibility of poor judgment is very high. When you have taken time to understand what is required, your decision or action will be wiser.

Only the righteous people are wise. It is impossible to be wise if your actions and thoughts are inconsistent with the word of God. Through righteousness, you become wiser in the eyes of men and God. When men are not righteous, their understanding of God and what he requires of humanity is shallow. This will affect their decisions and interactions which eventually shapes their destiny.

The wisdom of God grows with time. The challenges that made a person wise in the seventeenth century have been overcome and new ones emerged. You must therefore keep updating your acumen by reading books, sharing your knowledge and meditating on circumstances as they emerge. Being wise is hard work and a revelation that comes from God.
