The Teachings Of A Christian Church Clayton NC

By Carolyn Clark

Christianity teaches people to be moral. Lack of morality makes the world to be a very dark place. Morality must be the order of the day. Moral living leads to a wonderful life and an even greater afterlife. An important teaching when it comes to morality is love. The other moral teachings that are usually emphasized in a Christian church Clayton NC usually focus on righteousness, justice, and peace. All these are needed so that a Christian can become a hundred percent complete. A believer should strive to reach the epitome of his faith. Half measures will not help.

The most important teaching of a Christian church is the teaching of love. This message has been emphasized since time immemorial. Since the creation of the earth, human beings have always been told to love one another. Where there is love, there is harmony and peaceful living. Lack of love causes all manner of evil. Hating another person must never be the case.

Children need to be taught to love others from a tender age. When all that a child sees is hate, he will definitely become a hateful person when he becomes an adult. Hate must never be the case. It should be the exception rather than the norm. Love should rule over the hearts of people. It should rule over a nation.

Teaching believers about love is just but one side of the equation. The other side involves teaching about righteousness. Love and righteousness go hand in hand. The two do not conflict each other. Actually, they complement each other. Where there is love, there will also be righteousness. Living in a morally upright manner is the best thing to do.

Sin is a scar in the conscience of the world. Sinful lifestyles all over the world have led to a lot of suffering. If people could have strived to avoid sin, life could simply be very beautiful. The number one sin that is worth avoiding by all manner possible is sexual sin. The Bible says that sex should be confined to marriage.

The Bible says that all have sinned and fallen short of the glory. There is no one on earth who is without sin. Every human being is born with original sin. In addition, people continue to sin during their lifetime. This is the age of grace. That means that a sinner can easily be forgiven and subsequently becomes a righteous person.

It is the age of grace. That means that all manner of sin are presently forgivable. All that one has to do is to accept that he has sinned and repent of his sins. After the repenting process, there will be the need to follow the straight and the narrow so that to avoid falling into sin again.

There is more than one church out there. Thus, it is easy to be spoilt for choice. One needs to find an alternative that is fully based on biblical teachings. An individual can decide to become a Catholic. As a matter of fact, Catholicism has a very rich history. Alternatively, Protestantism can be the ultimate choice of an individual.
