Historical Facts About The Life Of Jesus

By Telly Watson

If you're a movie-goer, you've probably watched movies that involved someone raising the dead. Maybe they're dressed up in a fancy outfit waving a staff and chanting a spell thereby raising the dead. But as you read about Jesus in the Bible, you'll come across a few passages that show Jesus and his ever-wonderful miracles one of which is raising the dead. But he's not raising them looking like zombies from a movie but he's raising back to life with their looks intact.

One way or another, you'll come to ask this question. The church has stated that Jesus is real and that every believer must believe that. There should be no questioning about his existence. But the world is a changing environment and keeping that authority doesn't apply. So the world, many years ago, decided to take matters into their hands and investigated on finding Jesus Christ' proof of existence on earth.

You must also know that Jesus Christ is the ultimate image of the Lord. What that means is you finally see that God has made a man who represents him. He may not be physically there, but he has his son to help him out. When Jesus died on his cross due to crucifixion, you have to know that he did this to die for our sins. Even if people were bad and sinful, he died for their sake. He did it with no regret. This shows that Jesus had a heart for humanity and it shows God loved the world.

Another finding was the infamous cloth that contained the face of Jesus Christ. Many people believed Jesus had planted his body's image into the cloth. But scientists wanted to see if that proof was real. After further investigation, they find startling results such as the fact that Leonardo da Vinci may have been the one to actually imitate the image of Jesus using his own body. This sparked many controversies in the world of the religions.

Don't go thinking that raising the dead is Jesus' popularity thing. He's doing it not just to raise back the people who deserve to live, but also to show people he is who he says he is. He's not trying to boast about it, but he's trying to show he has compassion for the world. He wants to show his everlasting love for the people of his Father, God.
